ABOUT US

Built on Integrity. Driven by Craft.
Our story is one of family, experience, and a belief that doing what’s right never goes out of style.
OUR STORY

We purchased R&R Millwork in 2002 as a father-and-son team, bringing years of manufacturing experience and a shared passion for craftsmanship. Before taking ownership, we built and operated several manufacturing businesses—producing cryostats for General Electric MRI machines, liquid oxygen tanks for the U.S. Air Force, and architectural precast panels for high-rises across Denver. From day one, our goal has been to serve a select group of customers with exceptional quality and lasting partnerships. One of our first calls came from King Soopers, who needed help fixing a bakery case issue—an opportunity that grew into a 23-year partnership. Since then, we’ve helped Cricket open over 600 stores, Red Robin more than 400, and Chipotle remodel over 300 locations. Today, we continue to work with clients who value personal connection, flexibility, and craftsmanship in every detail.

OUR PURPOSE
Mamaland Girls.jpg

We started the Harwell Family Foundation in 2012 because we believe businesses should use their success to create opportunity for others. For us, giving back means more than charity—it means empowerment. Through our Salone Rising program, we’ve provided small business loans to more than 300 entrepreneurs in rural Sierra Leone, helping them build sustainable livelihoods, care for their families, and strengthen their communities. Over time, we’ve seen these small efforts spark big change—creating jobs, inspiring hope, and transforming lives. A few years later, we opened Mamaland Children’s Village with support from the local government, creating a safe home for 20 young girls to live, learn, and dream. What began as a simple desire to give back has grown into a lasting part of who we are. Every project we complete at R&R helps sustain this mission—craftsmanship at home, opportunity abroad.
